Webcentric Marketing
Serious search engine positioning does not fit the budget
constraints or needs of everyone. Even if you pursue positioning
aggressively, you should be doing other things to promote your
site on and off the Web. In fact, you should count on
receiving no more than 40% of your traffic from search engines.
Webcentric Marketing

The concept is pretty simple: use
the Webcentric approach to
drive traffic to your web site. Just about everything you do in
your normal course of business should be oriented towards Webcentric Marketing
in order to maximize the ROI for your Web site.
The arrows above that go both
ways indicate the items which interact with your Web site. For example, your flash
presentation might be advertised on it's own, but it's actually
a part of your site. Product announcements should be sent out by
e-mail but also posted on your site.
The one-way arrows are not
interactive components but rather those functions that drive
traffic to your site.
It is highly likely that no one
will implement everything on the diagram. You should pick and
choose the items that best fit your work style and your overall
plan.
